Summer Time

Right on the brink of summer!  A time to accomplish so many things, or a time to forget it all and relax?  Probably some combination of the two in my case.  Things planned for this summer include a container garden, a trip to South Dakota for Grandma and Grandpa Howard's 70th wedding anniversary celebration, a trip to Colorado for a family get-together at Brenda's, repainting the kids bathroom, and MAYBE working on the kitchen.  I'm sure there will be other projects, too.  The kids still have some school work to do, and they have to keep up with their music since they made it into the orchestras again this year.  Amy is so excited because the AYS tour will be international this year.  We don't know where yet.  Then by the end of July, we start back into music camp and orchestra, then school again!  Time moves so rapidly.  I have to remember to concentrate on the important things:  making sure my kids are ready for Heaven, making good memories with them, keeping life focused on God, family, and friends, not the things of the world.
